Act as the temporary works gatekeeper on a major industrial construction project in South Wales.
The role
A Temporary Works Coordinator is needed on a major industrial construction project in Port Talbot. You will make sure all temporary structures are designed, checked, installed and removed safely in line with BS 5975. Shifts run Monday to Thursday.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the temporary works register and design brief process
- Check temporary works are installed in line with approved designs before permits to load are issued
- Coordinate with designers, supervisors and subcontractors
- Carry out regular inspections and keep clear records
About you
- Temporary Works Coordinator training (or Temporary Works Supervisor with relevant experience)
- Experience on civil engineering or industrial construction sites
- Good understanding of BS 5975
- CSCS card
