The role
A leading global engineering and project management consultancy is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join its Complex Projects team in Belfast. The role would also suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step. You will work client-side on major infrastructure projects, managing contracts, cost and payments.
Key responsibilities
- Administer NEC4 contracts across a range of main options
- Manage budgets, forecasting, risk, cost reporting and payments
- Produce cost plans and cost reports aligned with the project programme
- Meet contractual deadlines and respond on the client’s behalf
- Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and contractors, including site visits and interim valuations
- Support the assessment of final accounts
About you
- Degree in quantity surveying, or equivalent experience
- Working towards, or keen to work towards, RICS chartership
- Knowledge of standard methods of measurement
- Strong IT, communication and numeracy skills
- NEC3 or NEC4 experience is an advantage
- Some projects may require UK security clearance, which can involve five or more years of UK residency.
