The role
A water sector contractor is looking for a General Foreman to oversee site works at sewage treatment works in and around Guildford. This is a 12-month contract, Inside IR35.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors
- Plan daily activities to keep works safe, on programme and to specification
- Lead briefings, permits and site inspections
- Report progress to the Site Manager and Project Manager
About you
- Previous experience as a Foreman or General Foreman in the water sector
- Strong knowledge of civils works on treatment sites
- SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card and water hygiene card (or willingness to obtain)
- Confident leading teams and maintaining high safety standards
