The role
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead civil engineering works at a tunnel portal site near Ickenham and Harefield in West London, on a major high-speed rail programme. Strong civils experience is essential.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of your project scope to agreed budget, programme and quality
- Lead and coordinate the site and delivery team, subcontractors and supply chain
- Produce and maintain programmes, risk registers and progress reports
- Manage change, early warnings and notifications under NEC contracts with the commercial team
- Champion health, safety and environmental standards on site
- Liaise with the client, designers, stakeholders and interfacing contractors
About you
- Strong civil engineering delivery experience
- Experience of earthworks, structures or tunnel portal works is an advantage
- Proven project management experience on major infrastructure projects
- Good working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Degree or equivalent in civil engineering, construction or project management
- APM or similar qualification, or working towards it
- Relevant CSCS card; SMSTS is an advantage
